Alexis McNally studied Art History at the Courtauld Institute, and Garden Design at the Inchbald School of Design. Since then he has conceived and executed garden projects throughout Europe as well as further afield.

Studying the cultural heritage of Europe, the Middle East and Central Asia has led him to use their Art and architecture as his inspiration. By distilling their essence he arrives at original and timeless forms.

Combining his understanding of geometry, materials and plants, he aims to create balanced and contemplative green spaces, in harmony with the spirit of the location - or oases of calm within an urban setting.

Also a passionate ecologist, he is interested particularly in the latest green technologies and the ancient agrarian traditions that work in symbiosis with the Earth.
